Whether they are saving for retirement, investing in stocks and bonds, or deciding how to invest in a cause that helps people around the world, we want to help create a financial game plan that will improve the stability of their future. Collaborating with our clients' other strategic advisors, we help mitigate the variables that threaten the probability of our clients' dreams of the future becoming tomorrow's reality.

Our History

Steven Stratton founded The Stratton Group in 1987 after being recruited to start with New York Life. Steven found many ways to help each of his clients succeed in their financial goals and instilled the same kind of passion into his family. His son, Mark Stratton, began helping part-time while in college and moved to a full-time position after graduation in 2005. Mark graduated with his BS in Financial Planning from Texas Tech and has been a member of New York Life Council since 2008*. What started out as a small startup practice has become a vibrant and thriving practice 30 years later. TSG Financial Strategies' longevity is a testament to the way they treat their clients. Making each one feel valued and like they are part of the family was the intent of Steven Stratton in 1987 and continues to be the primary focus today.
